Accessing your Plexatalk voicemail is quick and simple. Whether you’re a residential customer or a business using a multi-user VoIP phone system, you can retrieve your voicemail messages in just a few steps.
Accessing Your Voicemail
To access your Plexatalk voicemail, simply:
- Dial *97 from your Plexatalk VoIP phone or softphone, or
- Dial 1571 from your Plexatalk phone
You will then be prompted to enter your voicemail PIN if required. Once logged in, you can listen to new and saved messages, delete messages, and manage your voicemail settings.
Business Customers Using Multi-User VoIP
If you’re a business customer using a multi-user VoIP system, voicemail is typically configured on a per-user or per-extension basis.
- Each user or extension may have its own voicemail mailbox and PIN.
- If you’re unsure of your voicemail PIN or need it reset, please contact your system administrator or the Plexatalk support team.
- For security, we recommend using a unique PIN for each extension and updating it periodically.
This is particularly important in shared office environments or where multiple users have access to the same phone system.
Accessing Voicemail Using Your Phone’s Voicemail Button
Many VoIP desk phones, including a range of Yealink models, can be configured to provide one-touch access to voicemail.
Depending on your handset, you may have:
- A dedicated voicemail button
- A programmable soft key
- A speed-dial key for voicemail
- A message waiting indicator (MWI) that alerts you to new voicemail messages
When configured, pressing the voicemail button automatically dials your voicemail service, removing the need to manually dial *97 or 1571.
